MEET AMBER
Amber got bitten by the travel bug early on in life.
Each summer, her mother would take her and her brother out to explore a new country.
As the self-proclaimed clumsiest person in the world, turning fixing boo-boos into her profession was nothing but a logical step.
While she was pursuing her career as an Emergency Room Nurse, travelling temporarily faded into the background.
But, as it turned out, the call for adventure and exploring the world around her is one of the few conditions she can’t fix.
During one of her paid leaves, she discovered the freedom of overlanding and never looked back.
Today, she uses her travel experience and background in Emergency Medicine to fix up her companions and help others stay safe on the road.
MEET JARITS
Raised as a true overlander, Jarits started his journey by giving a helping hand to his father with every breakdown their RV had.
As a teen, he got his hands on his own travel companion, a LADA NIVA.
Many roadside repairs later, he was introduced to the world of Land Rovers, which jump-started his passion for mechanics.
His heart beats for everything with an engine, whether it’s his Defender, his BMW Motor, or the ship where he works as an Marine Engineer.
In his free time, he’s either out conquering the trickiest off-road paths, or busy in his garage, fixing up vehicles and working on car-conversions for his next overland trip.

You don’t have to be fit as a flea or a trained mechanic to be able to hit the road.
A strong love for nature, a sense of adventure, and the willingness to learn some new skills are all you need to start overlanding.
Planet Doe was made to set you up for success, and even more importantly, to help you stay safe on the road. Knowing you’re fully prepared for anything, will allow you to enjoy the experience to the fullest.
